  Both Jeevan and Archana are wonderful hosts—very humble, polite, and welcoming. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel completely at ease. A special thanks to Archana for the delicious tea and poha, which added a truly personal and homely touch to our stay. The house itself was spotless and exceptionally well-maintained, giving me a comforting feeling of being at my own home in Ireland. Honestly, this was the only place in Ujjain where I truly enjoyed staying, as it is very clean and thoughtfully equipped with everything you need. Overall, it felt like a luxurious and relaxing experience.The only small downside is the location, which is about 15–20 minutes from the city. This means you are largely dependent on taxis unless you have your own vehicle. While options like Rapido are available, they may not be very convenient for larger groups to travel together. That said, Jeevan was very helpful in arranging transportation for us at reasonable rates, which made things much easier. It would be even better if full kitchen access were offered in the future, as it provides more flexibility to cook your own food —especially when traveling with kids and parents. However, this was clearly communicated at the time of booking, so no complaints there. One small improvement (my suggestion) could be adding a glass separator between the toilet and shower area to create a dry bathroom space. While this is not very common in Indian homes, it would certainly give the property a more European touch. Overall we are very delighted with what we paid and what we were offered. I would highly recommend this property for families and will share in my network within India as well as in Ireland. Thanks once again Jeevan and Archana 🙌

  Absolutely amazing stay! The homestay was clean, comfortable, and felt just like home. The host was helpful and welcoming throughout our stay. The location and overall ambience were perfect. We truly enjoyed every moment and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and memorable stay. Looking forward to visiting again!

  Archana and Jeevan were always reachable and extremely supportive throughout our stay. Whenever we needed anything, they were ready to help even at very odd hours. At one point, we requested tea late at night, and they arranged it without hesitation, which really shows their hospitality. The place itself is very comfortable and well-maintained. We were a group of 9 people, and the accommodation was spacious enough for all of us. In fact, even a few more members could have stayed comfortably without any issues. Overall, a great place for group stays with warm and responsive hosts. Highly recommended!

  Our first visit to Ujjain Mahakal Mandir. Such an awesome experience at Shivalik Home stay. Jeevan and Archana are really great hosts and warm people. Our family enjoyed the stay. Rooms were really clean and aesthetic. Would recommend it definitely 😇
