  A memorable and well-hosted hinterland camping experience ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This was a lovely and memorable camping experience for me and my fiancée. The initial riverside trek to the sunset point was scenic and calming, and the campsite itself was well organized with a warm bonfire, fun group activities, live music, and antakshari. The food was genuinely very good. The last stretch of road (around 1 km) leading to the campsite is rough, especially as it passes through a village and outskirts, so it’s best to drive slowly and carefully. That said, it also adds to the feeling of heading deep into the hinterland, and the destination is absolutely worth the effort. The host, Dixit Thakur, was extremely welcoming and cooperative, making sure everyone was comfortable. The next morning’s trek — crossing the river and moving through the wilderness — was adventurous and refreshing, followed by a nice breakfast before departure. Overall, a great offbeat camping experience for nature lovers who don’t mind a little rough approach in exchange for a peaceful stay.

  “This place is just too beautiful ❤️ Visited Hinterland, around 40 km from Indore, this weekend to celebrate my birthday — and it was truly amazing. The Manager Dixit was very friendly, guided us through some beautiful treks, the staff was extremely kind and helpful. The food was delicious, and the sunset, sunrise, and live music made the experience even more special. The management was very good, clean place, clean tents and clean washrooms A truly memorable stay — highly recommended!”**

  Went there in 2022 as well as in 2026 But huge difference Food good Music good Maintenance need to be improved I think owner is changed and hence the consequences. Maintenance of property need to be done.

  Last month, I went camping on short notice for a friend's birthday, and it surpassed all expectations. The owner's organization was excellent, with helpful and kind staff. The serene atmosphere, enhanced by beautiful lights and Himalayan vibes near the Narmada River, provided a deeply calming experience. It felt like therapy, and witnessing one of the best sunrises added to the magic. Highly recommend for a peaceful getaway

  One of its kind experience near Indore. The location is blissful, the forest & river give a feeling of serenity. More than us, our dog had tons of fun. Rohan and his staff does everything in their capacity to make the stay enjoyable. Highly recommended!
