  I had booked a room at Shri Narayan Homestay through the MakeMyTrip app. When I reached the hotel, the room felt just okay—not very good, not very bad—and I was willing to adjust considering the price. However, the bathroom and washroom were separate and extremely dirty, far worse than expected. We still tried to adjust, but the room was not properly cleaned; there was garbage in the corners, plastic wrappers hanging, and trash left behind by previous guests. Although they removed some of it after we complained, the room was still not cleaned properly. In the evening, my father found bedbugs on the bed. We had booked a two-day stay, and when we checked an extra room (a large hall-type room without a bed), it was also in very poor condition. In the separate room booked for my parents, there was no AC. One positive thing was that when some of our clothes fell down after we had hung them to dry, a worker picked them up and kept them safely, which was a very kind gesture. So overall, the staff was good and helpful, but the hospitality and cleanliness were extremely poor. Also, our check-in time was 12:00 PM, but even though we arrived around 5:00 PM after a long 140 km journey from Omkareshwar Temple to Ujjain, we still had to wait for about 30 minutes to get our room, which was disappointing.

  Literally location was totally amazing and I love the place and the service was very good and rooms was so clean and I love it..... 💗

  Pathetic home stay I have ever seen. When I talked to owner on phone, they were very nice in behaviour and I paid advance amount of 2000. When we reached there, rooms were stinky and dirty. When I complained about the same, owner said that you are first one who didn’t like it and I asked for checkout next day then he refused to return the money and we had no option to stay there as there was raining. Bed sheets were dirty, no help desk, no water from owner and they ask to purchase bisleri. Also, no TV, no wifi, no chairs, dirty sink. When it was raining, water was flowing in the rooms as no proper drain system. So, I suggest not to book this stay at all as they are not helpful and just looking for money from guests. They forget what they promise to us and behave rudely.
