  Located near Nana Kheda bus stand, the hotel boasts of a beautiful property with an old world charm & architecture. Being located on the outer edge of the city, it offers a serene & peaceful stay, very reason why I booked this particular property in the first place. Has a children's park, a garden & huge compounds with lots of greenery surrounding it. Found the staff to be quite hospitable & warm (though limited in numbers) right from the manager, to the kitchen staff & the keeper of the lawns & garden were all present at the property during my visit. Booked my stay at highly discounted rates directly from their website & we stayed in the ground floor room right next to the reception & main lobby. Room was cosy & tidy with the AC working just fine. Toilets were clean and well maintained. In house restaurant served hot & tasty meals every time, though food options were a bit limited. Overall, I had a very positive experience & thoroughly enjoyed my stay here (April 2025) & am likely to re book this particular MP Tourism property again, if I visit Ujjain next time. P.S-this property is not suitable for people who are looking for a central location with modern amenities. Come here only if you enjoy a calm & relaxing stay away from the city din & are able to manage your stay with limited options.   On our scheduled tour started from this place to Shree Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga Darshan and other temple's tour on 13- 15th. August 2026, with a great expectations. Our bookings were done by the online basis,and it was very friendly. 0ur 4 bedded room was neatly ready, cleaned with all requirements including washroom. Authorities were also very much cooperative and cordial behaviour too. There are both AC &Non-AC and dormitory facilities available. On the other hand the kitchen services are visibly very much poor and questionable inspite of good accommodation. Parking facilities available free of cost. Location of Avantika Yatri Niwas is near to Nanakheda State & Inter-state bus terminus, on Mahaveer Marg.Good place to stay comfortably.

  I recently stayed at MPT Avantika, and the location is absolutely awesome—perfectly situated with breathtaking views and an incredibly relaxing vibe. Another massive plus is the surrounding area; there are some amazing cafés and excellent food places just a short walk away, making it incredibly easy to find great meals. A special shoutout goes to the wonderful lady manager who made our stay truly memorable. She went above and beyond by upgrading our room to one of the property's more modern options. I highly recommend opting for these newer units; the older rooms feel a bit dated and aren't quite up to par, but the modern rooms are exceptionally spacious, bright, and meticulously well-maintained. Thanks to her fantastic hospitality and the stellar location, we had a wonderful time. I would definitely stay here again!

  I really enjoyed the spacious rooms here. 🤩 The location is fantastic and very easy to find, which was a huge plus for me. 🗺️ The price was also quite affordable. The service was acceptable, though there's some room for improvement. 🏨

  Worst Hotel Experience – Completely Overpriced and Poorly Maintained I stayed at MPT Avantika, Ujjain from 2nd June to 4th June 2026, booking three AC Deluxe rooms for my family at a total cost of approximately ₹16,500. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing and nowhere close to what one would expect from a property charging such rates. The most disappointing part was that several issues were reported during check-in and throughout our stay, but they were largely ignored by the management. Despite raising concerns with Manager Mis. Durgeshwari Singh Bhati, no meaningful action was taken. Major Issues: 1. Power Outage There was a power failure for nearly 2 hours during midnight in peak summer. My entire family, especially my 6-year-old daughter, could not sleep comfortably. Multiple calls to the reception received little to no positive response. 2. Hygiene & Cleanliness The rooms appeared poorly maintained and dusty. The bedsheets had visible stains, raising serious concerns about cleanliness. We also noticed what appeared to be bed bugs near the pillow area and even found two lizards inside the room near the bedside lamp. After seeing the lizards, my daughter refused to stay in our room and spent the remainder of the trip in her grandparents' room. 3. Safety Concerns The water heater had an exposed/open cover while the power supply was active. This is a serious electrical safety hazard, especially in a bathroom environment where guests are taking showers. 4. Broken and Unsafe Fixtures The washbasin was damaged and unsafe, particularly for families with children. The geyser switch was mounted unusually high, making it difficult to access. 5. Poor Maintenance The bathroom ventilation was not working, several room lights were non-functional, and the hand wash dispenser looked neglected and poorly maintained. 6. Understaffed Property The hotel appeared severely understaffed. The few staff members present seemed overburdened, which directly affected service quality and responsiveness. Final Verdict For the amount charged, this property offers very poor value for money. The rooms, facilities, hygiene standards, maintenance, and guest service fall far below expectations for a hotel advertising Deluxe accommodation. 0% satisfaction. Completely overpriced and poorly maintained. Until significant renovations, better hygiene practices, and proper staffing improvements are implemented, I would strongly recommend travelers and families to consider other accommodation options in Ujjain. Not recommended.
