  Hospitals become truly good because of their doctors, not just because of their facilities. This is absolutely true for this hospital. I received very humble and caring support from the emergency department doctor at 3:30 a.m. 20.03.2026, when I was visiting Ujjain and my children suddenly fell sick due to poor‑quality food at our hotel. I am very grateful for the prompt help and sincere treatment we received in such a difficult moment.

  My wife gave birth here. Within just two or three hours of being born, our baby developed jaundice. Due to the sheer negligence of this hospital staff, my child went untreated for four days; consequently, the bilirubin levels rose so high—reaching 36 mg/dL—that it caused permanent brain damage. Had I possessed even the slightest inkling that my child could suffer such severe harm, I would have taken him to a private hospital instead. Today, that child is unable to walk or move on his own, despite having been born completely healthy and safe. Therefore, I humbly plead with all of you: do not, under any circumstances—even by mistake—visit this hospital. Otherwise, you will be left with nothing but a lifetime of regret.

  The hospital is good but the nursing staff is rude. Yes, we agree that they get upset the whole day but that does not mean that they should be careless. If you don't want to work then don't do it but they should not be rude or careless.

  The government is providing facilities of 9 prenatal medical tests including antenatal profile, ultrasound, blood group, malaria test, HIV, urine test, hemoglobin and blood transfusion for pregnant women. A total of 8778 ultrasound tests and 110359 other tests were conducted during 2016-17. Also, 7147 deliveries have been conducted so far, amongst which 2092 were caesarian. At private hospitals, up to Rs 30, 000 have to be paid for a cesarean delivery while Charak Hospital is doing it free of charge, he added
