  Apna Sweets is a nice restaurant and sweets shop. This is located in main city Devas road, Ujjain. We visited here for lunch, food quality was good but staff service was not good enough. Took long time to deliver the food and skipped many items. I would recommend to visit this restaurant for lunch and dinner. But how they take payment is a challenge. They take the payment in advance and provide a token card but if you are not aware how much it is going to cost your overall bill then needs to pay extra money in advance to have enough money in your token. I think they should bill or charge lately once customer finished his food etc.

  I really enjoyed the brunch I had here; the food was flavorful and well-prepared. 😋 The atmosphere was pleasant and inviting. However, the service was just okay, nothing particularly outstanding. 🤷‍♀️ Overall, a good spot for a tasty meal! Chats counters are good

  Very disappointing experience. I have visited Apna Sweets Ujjain twice, and unfortunately, both experiences were extremely bad. The food quality was seriously disappointing. The rice was undercooked and tasted like stale food. The Kadhai Paneer was one of the worst dishes I have ever had in Ujjain—the taste and quality were absolutely unacceptable. The masala papad/salad was loaded with red chilli powder, making it extremely difficult to eat. The service was equally poor. The staff/servers did not respond properly to our requests and showed very little concern for the customer. We spent around ₹900 on our meal, but the overall food quality and service were nowhere close to what we expected. What is most disappointing is that this was not my first bad experience here. I visited twice, and both times I had a poor experience. For a restaurant of this reputation, the food quality, hygiene, customer service and staff behaviour need serious improvement. I definitely would not recommend this place based on my experiences.

  Writing this review after trying this restaurant 4-5 times and after giving numerous opportunities to be able to do justice with the hype which i had heard about this place. Food doesn't mean only mirch and spices, food means the peculiar taste of ingredients. (आप इनके यहां कुछ भी खा लो, मिर्च का टेस्ट ही आयेगा और किसी ingredient का नहीं) Once I tried bhindi kukuri, result that it was too oily and later I got food poisoning, god knows why. On another occasion, me and my friends tried dosa etc. Damn sambhar was spicy and sweet both at the same time, but not at all like proper sambhar. Once thali was ordered, again all things Dal, Vegebies and chole everything giving same taste that is of spices plus oily as well. Crowd management and customer service is at the worst possible place here. You might have run from cash counter to first floor to ground floor to to finally eat your food. Managers at cash counter are not at all well trained in courteous communication, generally customer is treated like god, here you will find the opposite behaviour as if the person on the counter is your teacher and customer is student. Almost on all occasions I found that restaurant does not have adequate staff , be it sweet section, juice section, chat samosa or dining section. Overall, neither it has good service not great food. So finally, after all these opportunities provided, I am convinced that the crowd which is going here is only first timer and is caught due to marketing hype only. Moreover in recent two visits I found the downfall in crowd as well.

  Apna Sweets is one of the best vegetarian restaurants in Ujjain. The food is consistently fresh, delicious, and prepared with great quality ingredients. Whether it’s breakfast, snacks, sweets, or a full meal, everything is flavorful and served with care. The restaurant is clean, spacious, and perfect for families. The staff is courteous, service is quick, and the prices are reasonable for the quality offered. If you’re visiting Ujjain, this is definitely a place you shouldn’t miss. Highly recommended for anyone looking for tasty food and authentic flavors!
